Squad Recognizes AlphaGraphics Owner for Efforts (10/10/2003)

Squad president Ken Herr thanks AlphaGraphics owner Dick HaughDick Haugh (L) is presented with a plaque by Ken Herr, President of the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad. Mr. Haugh, owner of AlphaGraphics, Union, NJ and a long time Summit resident, has made a significant contribution to the Squad in designing, producing, printing, and mailing the 2003-2004 Annual Fund Drive material. Each year the Annual Fund Drive is the major contributor to the financial health of the Squad. The Squad does not receive any funding from the City of Summit or the State of New Jersey and is dependent on the residents of Summit for support. The fund drive this year reached all residents in Summit on September 10th and the response to date has been extremely positive.

"The quality of the artwork and the printing has made this year's brochure and mailing one of the most attractive the Squad has done in both picture and description of the Squad's mission," Mr. Herr stated. "We thank residents like Dick Haugh and his staff at AlphaGraphics in Union for their help and contribution to making this a successful campaign."

The Squad is always looking for new volunteers and provides all needed training and equipment. For information, please call 908-277-9479, or visit them on the Internet at www.summitems.org
