Summit Squad Welcomes new High Tech Training Tool (1/24/2011)

New high tech training mannequin for Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad member Henrietta Mahon practices rescue techniques on "Rescusi Anne", a life-like mannequin used to train EMS personnel. The high-tech training mannequin was obtained through a grant from the Manley-Wisner Foundation in Summit. The new "Rescusi Annie allows our members to maintain their skills through a variety of simulated emergency situations. We are lucky to have such a valuable tool," said Kate Getzendanner, Training Lieutenant at the Summit Squad.

The First Aid Squad is an independent non-profit corporation and does not receive any tax dollars. All operations are funded through private contributions and grants.
