The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad new officers and board of trustees for 2012 were sworn in at its last general meeting. Outgoing Mayor Jordan Glatt administered the oath of office and took a few minutes to thank the squad volunteers for their tremendous service to Summit during his 8 years as Mayor.

The following Squad members will serve as officers for 2012:  John Christmann, President; Matt Sinclair, Vice President; Tom Dempsey, Treasurer; Henrietta Mahon, Recording Secretary; and Jane James, Corresponding Secretary. Board Trustees also include Dennis Burd, Mike D’Ecclessis, Mark Koernig, Jane Mahoney , Steve Mortenson, and Doug Stephens.

The line officers are Kari Phair, Captain; Jane Mahoney, Equipment Lieutenant Mel Harari, Day Lieutenant; Chris Raymond, Personnel Lieutenant; Kate Getzendanner, Training Lieutenant; and Richard Raymond, Maintenance Lieutenant.

The First Aid Squad is an independent non-profit corporation and does not receive any tax dollars. All operations are funded through private contributions and grants.
